JONATHAN MURSIC, RDT

Jonathan has over 35 years of experience in the dental industry. 15* of them focused on CAD/CAM technologies and digital dentistry.

President of 5 Axis Dental Lab, he has operated a boutique cosmetic lab, worked as a dental instructor for both Noritake and Henry Schein, worked as a CAD/CAM technical manager, doing research and development in the U.S., and has lectured and hosted hands-on courses in Canada, the US and Europe.

Evaluating the latest dental technologies and developing and implementing CAD/CAM dentistry is a real passion which he continues to enjoy. Jonathan opened his own CAD/CAM center to serve dentists across Canada and the USA. In 2008, using an iTero scanner he scanned the first intra-oral custom abutment with finished porcelain fused to zirconia crown, utilizing a single scanning appointment.

Working with several prosthodontists he continues to expand the field of digital dentistry and develop 5 Axis' proprietary Designer software allowing him to manufacture full-arch, multiple unit, custom abutments and finished restorations from a single digital impression.

JON WESTSTRATE, RDT

A graduate from George Brown College in Dental Technology, Jon is a RDT well versed in all aspects of dental technology, having worked in the dental industry for over 15 years.

He oversees the case planning and management, working closely with our dentists to develop complex treatment plans, ensuring they are implemented to exacting specifications and quality standards.

ZACHARY MURSIC, DDS, MSD, FRCDC

Dr. Zachary Mursic completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California where he graduated amongst the top of his class and received the honor of becoming a member of the OKU dental fraternity chapter.

Dr. Mursic has certificates in two different advanced dental specialties, Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery. He has a broad experience providing patients with complex full mouth, implant, aesthetic, and surgical rehabilitations. His collaboration with 5 Axis Dental continues to push the boundaries of excellence in digital dentistry.

His philosophy is deliver high quality dental care in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. His practice, Durham Prosthodontics, is located in Whitby, Ontario.

PAUL P. CHANG, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Chang attended Baltimore College of Dentistry in Maryland where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2003. He then completed an extensive five-year residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), where he was awarded specialty certificates in both Periodontics and Prosthodontics. While in San Antonio, he also completed his research on bio-modification of titanium surfaces to improve initial implant stability and earned his Master’s degree in the school of Biological Science.

Dr. Chang is an adjunct professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the UTHSCSA Dental School. He is actively involved in the Southwest Society of Periodontists where he is currently serving as a board member. Dr. Chang has published several articles on dental implants and has also lectured at numerous continuing education courses around the country. He is a current member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Academy of Periodontology, Southwest Society of Periodontists, American Dental Association, and Fourth District Dental Society.

Dr. Chang currently maintains his specialty practice in McKinney, Texas.
